At the 2015 Design Competition for the NKBA’s Minnesota Chapter, Jessica Sybrant from the Arrow Cabinet Gallery was awarded 3rd place in the Small Kitchen category.(less than 150 sq. ft.)
To match the 1920’s style bookcases in the living room, inset white painted cabinetry was selected. Old ranch casings were replaced with casing to match the rest of the home. The forest green bead board was replaced with fresh new white bead board, at the same height as the countertops. Dark granite countertops were needed for the contrast, and classic white subway tiles were selected for the backsplash. The new Elmira Northstar appliances in buttercup yellow give a nod to the past and the kitchen a pop of color.
At the 2014 design competition for the NKBA’s Minnesota Chapter, Tammy Johnson from the Arrow Cabinet Gallery was awarded 1st place in the small kitchen category(less than 150 square feet).
This 10-by-14-foot kitchen situated at the core of a 1947 home was tired, dark, and unworkable. The layout inhibited rather than facilitated meal prep and cooking, and the outdated appliances and badly worn cabinetry and countertops needed to be replaced. The owners wanted an open floor plan that integrated the existing family room without adding to the 1,836-square-foot home. The new design eliminates the wall between the family room and kitchen, substituting a half wall and a peninsula snack bar with extra seating. Recessed and under-cabinet lighting as well as decorative pendant lights add illumination; new cabinetry maximizes storage; and granite countertops and finishes in a light palette brighten the space. | photo by Spacecrafting
Tamara Johnson at ABC Arrow Cabinets was a life-saver. She helped so much with the many overwhelming decisions as we chose colors and products to restore our home. We believe she went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the most for our money and would be happy with the outcome of the restoration process. We love everything we chose; the cabinets are lovely!
Jessica, let me take a minute to tell you how much we enjoyed working with you and your company. Everything went so smoothly from the first day we walked through the door till my bathroom was finished. I would certainly recommend you and Arrow Cabinet Gallery. In this day and age you expect something to go wrong but everything was finished as scheduled. Again thank you for the great service.
